For 2011, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety presented its TOP SAFETY PICK
award to 66 2011 vehicles, the makeup of which included 40 cars, 25 SUVs, and 1 minivan.
These vehicles were given this award based on their superior protection in front, side,
rollover, and rear crashes during Institute testing and the presence of available electronic stability control. Among the winners were 4 Hyundai vehicles, all of which can be found at Rick Case Hyundai.
In the Large Cars category, the Hyundai Genesis took home an award. The Hyundai Sonata
received an award in the Midsize Cars category. Meanwhile, the Hyundai Tucson and the Hyundai Santa Fe took home awards in the Small SUVs and Midsize SUVs categories respectively.
