2009 Hyundai Elantra

Hyundai's dedicated effort to deliver top-quality vehicles pays off once again. The latest recognition is from J.D. Power and Associates, which ranked Hyundai as the number one brand in the non-premium segment in its 2009 IQS Initial Quality Study. The Korean automaker also moved nine rungs up to be positioned at 4th place, just behind Lexus Porsche and Cadillac in the overall industry cutting across all segments.

This is for the second time in four years that Hyundai finished among the top four most quality car brands. Earlier Hyundai's quality was judged third best in the industry in 2006. Many Hyundai models also received J.D. Power and Associates' top honors in their respective segments. The Hyundai Elantra and the Hyundai Genesis have been ranked first in the compact car division and the "all new redesigned" segment respectively. The Hyundai Accent missed the top spot by only one point in the sub-compact segment.

Watch Out Competitiors!

Tuesday, October 20, 2009

2009 Hyundai TucsonThe near-luxury segment is all set to usher in a fresher, more powerful machine. The Hyundai Equus, which is Hyundai's limousine-like flagship sedan, is all set to make its grand debut in the US!

Hyundai decided to go ahead with this decision after a summer tour of the US dealerships. Hyundai Motors America is also considering the possibility of renaming the car for the U.S. market. The American version of the Equus is likely get a more toned-down grille, and much crisper steering and suspension tuning.

Rick Case Hyundai, the leading Hyundai dealer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is already looking forward to this formidable challenge thrown to competitors. Moreover, at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show, Hyundai is showing its 2011-model-year replacement for the Tucson compact crossover!

With two near-luxury super cars to rule the market, it spells bad news for competitors. Moderately priced but with performance unmatched by other cars in their class, the Hyundai Equus and the rejuvenated Hyundai Tucson are everything a prospective near-luxury car buyer is looking for. Summer 2010 is not far away, so competition watch out!

'Genesis' of a new era in automobiles

Monday, September 21, 2009

2010 Hyundai Genesis CoupeThe very name "coupe" rings in thrill, excitement and sport. The all-new 2010 Hyundai Genesis, a performance coupe that bundles excellent rear-wheel-drive dynamics and brisk performance into an attractive package, has carved its own niche among today's coupes. It is known for sharp handling, a comfortable ride from a sophisticated chassis, robust engines, sporty cabin design and good value. The Genesis is better than many vehicles in not just one - but many ways, especially the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro.

Both the Camaro and the Genesis appeal to buyers who value the ability to drive stylishly and fast more than a useful back seat or trunk space. Both are fun to drive, easy to maneuver in the tight and twisty turns. The Genesis handles roads more like a sports car than a pony- or muscle car while the Camaro's weight and size make it less entertaining on second- and third-gear roads. From every angle, the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro may be a gorgeous car, but after driving one finds that the Genesis is much more geared to the road with a lighter steering feel, crisper turn-in, and great power. Also, the Camaro's shifter feels clunkier whereas the Genesis's pedals are easier to heel-and-toe. The bucket seats of the Camaro are too wide between bolsters while those of Genesis are quite comfortable. The Genesis' V-6 engine with six-speed manual gets a 17/26 mpg (manufacturer's estimated) while the Camaro V-6/six-speed manual manages 17/29 mpg. Though the Camaro scores a little higher fuel economy, the Genesis' numbers get better with gas direct-injection technology. Like this, one can notice a number of factors that make the 2010 Hyundai Genesis, Hyundai's flagship vehicle, a better coupe over the Camaro. To sum it up, the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro is a beautiful tribute to the automotive past and if there is a future for rear-drive sport coupes, it's in a car like the 2010 Hyundai Genesis.

Rick Case Hyundai, a leading Hyundai dealership in Davie, FL, is pleased to present the 2010 Hyundai Genesis and provide more details on this brand new coupe. Visit Rick Case Hyundai for New Car Specials, genuine Hyundai parts and accessories and excellent Hyundai service.
