2010 Honda Insight: Great green fun for fewer bucks

2010 Honda InsightThe hybrid car market is crowded with all auto manufacturers launching their own versions. Every automaker claims that theirs is the best hybrid offering, the best of comfort, convenience and fuel economy. Rick Case Honda in Davie, FL, believes the Honda Insight, America's first and the best hybrid on road for almost ten years now offers unique style, great green attributes, and sophisticated features. The 2010 Honda Insight is offered in two trim levels-the Insight LX and EX.

There are many things that set Insight apart from other hybrids in the market. First, it has been priced less and offers more fun when compared to other hybrids. Second, the Insight employs Honda's fifth-generation Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) system which mates a 1.3-liter engine with an ultra-thin electric motor that increases efficiency through power assist, energy regeneration and idle stop capabilities. Third, with EPA ratings of 40/43/41 city/highway/combined mpg*, the Insight is, quite simply, more fun to drive thanks to its light, precise steering and smoother throttle and brake response. For 2010, the Insight comes with an all-new Ecological Drive Assist System (Eco Assist) to help drivers achieve excellent real-world fuel economy. Eco Assist is a driver-selected fuel efficiency feature. Pressing the ECON button can enhance the efficiency of multiple vehicle systems: throttle control, CVT operation, idle stop duration, air conditioning and cruise control operation (EX only).

The small 5-passenger Insight offers a spacious-feeling occupant environment with some measurements comparable to larger vehicles and a long list of high tech comfort and convenience features like automatic climate control, a six-speaker audio system, USB audio interface, optional Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System with Voice Recognition and a Bluetooth HandsFreeLink system (EX only). Also, an adaptable cargo area and 60/40 split fold-down seats provide extended utility. Thus, the 2010 Honda Insight is the natural choice when it comes to driving green. For details contact Rick Case Honda, a leading Honda dealership for new and used Hondas, in Davie, Florida.

All New Fit Hybrid Coming Soon

2010 Honda FitThe hugely popular Honda Fit Davie will become even more fuel-efficient soon! Rick Case Honda is pleased to announce that Honda is all set to launch a hybrid version of the Fit.

A five-door, five-passenger hatchback, the all new Fit Hybrid would sport an exterior look similar to that of the FCX Clarity and would be available at an affordable price, according to Honda. A new 1-liter-class engine is being developed for the new Fit Hybrid, and reports indicate that it would be sold for a considerably low price. The new Fit Hybrid, expected to take the formidable Toyota Prius head on, would presumably deliver a better fuel economy thanks to its lighter and more powerful batteries than the current nickel-metal hydride variety.

Meanwhile, the gas-powered Fit, equipped with a five-speed automatic transmission and a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, has already earned the reputation of being one of the more fuel-efficient vehicles on US roads with an EPA data showing 27 mpg in city driving and 33 mpg on the highway. Honda projects to sell 100,000 Fit Hybrids in North American market.

The new advancements in technology and production systems would significantly reduce the Fit Hybrid's cost, which would make hybrid technology "available to one and all at affordable prices," the automaker says. Without a doubt, the Honda lineup will be even more "fit" with the addition of this new hybrid. Visit Rick Case Honda Weston for details on the new Fit Hybrid. The 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour CUV's design language is by and large a mix of an SUV and a sedan to satiate the buyers who crave the sedan experience but want the practicality of an SUV. Rick Case Honda, the prime Honda dealer in Davie is all set to welcome the newest member of the Accord family, which will go on sale in about a month. Keep in touch with your Davie Rick Case Honda dealer to be among the first to receive information about all-new Accord Crosstour CUV!

Derived from the Accord Sedan, the Accord Crosstour maximizes car-like ride and refinement, yet maintains capabilities consistent with an SUV's increased ride height. The Accord Crosstour's styling builds on the Accord's familiar character lines and adds a bolder front grille complemented by a lower-body appearance, wedge-shaped C-pillars and an aggressive rear stance. The flowing roofline narrows smoothly into the rear of the vehicle to create an aggressive-looking design, which conceals a unique cargo area that can adapt to large objects that exceed the capacity of a sedan.

Equipped with the basic characteristics of a sedan and an SUV, the 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour CUV will lead the Accord pack with regard to size and price.
