2009 Mitsubishi OutlanderRick Case Mitsubishi, your multi-award winning Mitsubishi car dealer in Bedford near Cleveland, Ohio, previews the 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander GT. It is rare that an automaker's prototype is converted into a production-stage vehicle that is true to its conceptual form. The newly reinvented 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander is one such rarity. It is offered in four trim levels - ES, SE, XLS and the high-end GT.

The GT gets a characteristic front end, which contributes to its looks and renders further to the Outlander's athletic persona. The exteriors of this four door SUV feature LED taillights, a sleek roof rack, HID headlamps and 18-inch alloy wheels. The interiors feature a detailed contrast stitching on the leather bolstered sport seats, shift knob, three-spoke steering wheel and dash. The stitching stands out in the simple yet sophisticated cabin. The Outlander can be appreciated for its spaciousness, comfort and minimalistic styling. The trunk is roomy and the rear seats can be folded back for additional trunk space. The tailgate makes loading cargo easier and even provides space for a tailgate party.

The GT trim has a V6 engine and is offered only in 4WD with multi-mode S-AWC (All-Wheel Control). The model features a six-speed automatic transmission. The GT has a fuel-saving system that puts the vehicle in neutral when the vehicle stops and nudges it into first gear automatically when brake pedal pressure is released. This will minimize the engine's load and emissions output, thereby making the new Outlander more eco-friendly. The Mitsubishi Outlander GT gives fuel economy of 18 mpg for city and 24 mpg for highway driving.
