Offered in both coupe and convertible body styles, the all new Mitsubishi Eclipse raises the bar in the respective segments without carrying a hefty price tag.

The folks at Mitsubishi have put some quality efforts into bringing an appealing mix of style, power and comfort in to the Coupe and Spyder versions of the Mitsubishi Eclipse. The restyled front and rear bumper facades, roomy and stylish interior, advanced safety features and responsive powertrain help the 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse gain a complete makeover. The coupe and Spyder options of the Mitsubishi Eclipse are available in two trim levels - GS and GT. The entry-level GS has a 162-hp 2.4L four-cylinder engine mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. The GT has a 265-hp 3.8-liter V6 and can be equipped with either a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission.

The Rockford-Fosgate 650-watt audio system is part of the optional Sun & Sound Package available for the GS and GT models. A six-month pre-paid subscription to Sirius Satellite Radio comes standard with the package. Heated leather seats, side-view windows, and automatic climate control also are available options. The Eclipse comes standard with dual exhaust, HID headlamps, front airbags and front side-impact airbags with head extensions. The standard anti-lock brakes feature Electronic Brake-force Distribution, which balances front-rear brake application in emergency stops. Standard features on the GS include 17-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, keyless entry, and power windows, locks and mirrors.
